Important Notice

 

By registering for the Benfica Soccer Camp operated by Pro X Soccer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Waiver, Release of Liability, and Media Consent.

 

This waiver applies to the current Benfica Soccer Camp registration, including all training sessions, activities, and events associated with the camp.

Activity Description

 

Benfica Soccer Camp activities may include, but are not limited to:

 

• Soccer training sessions

• Technical and tactical instruction

• Small-sided games and scrimmages

• Physical conditioning and athletic activities

• Camps, clinics, evaluations, and demonstrations

• Any related soccer activities conducted by Pro X Soccer

 

Activities may take place at various athletic facilities or sports fields.

 

SL Benfica participates solely as a technical partner. Pro X Soccer is the sole organizer and operator of the camp.

Assumption of Risk

 

Participation in athletic activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

 

• Physical contact with other participants

• Falls, collisions, and accidental contact

• Overexertion or fatigue

• Weather conditions

• Use of sports equipment and facilities

• Other risks commonly associated with soccer and athletic training

 

Participants acknowledge that serious injury, permanent disability, or death may occur, and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, arising from participation in Benfica Soccer Camp activities.

Health & Fitness Responsibility

 

Participants confirm that they (or their child):

 

• Are physically able to participate in athletic activities

• Have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe, unless disclosed to camp staff

 

Participants agree to:

 

• Inform Pro X Soccer of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or limitations

• Follow all safety instructions from coaches and staff

• Immediately stop participation if they experience pain, injury, or health concerns

 

Pro X Soccer reserves the right to limit or remove participation if staff believe continued participation may pose a health or safety risk.

Release and Waiver of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted under California law, participants and/or parents or guardians agree to waive, release, and discharge the following from any and all claims or liabilities related to participation:

 

• Pro X Soccer

• SL Benfica

• Coaches, trainers, staff, volunteers, and contractors

• Facility owners and operators

• Sponsors, partners, and affiliates

 

This waiver applies to claims arising from:

 

• Personal injury

• Illness

• Death

• Property damage

 

including claims resulting from negligence.

Indemnification

 

Participants and/or parents or guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pro X Soccer, SL Benfica, and their officers, staff, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, legal fees, or expenses arising from participation in Benfica Soccer Camp activities.

Medical Disclaimer and Authorization

 

Participants acknowledge that Benfica Soccer Camp does not provide medical insurance coverage.

 

In the event of an emergency:

 

• Camp staff may seek emergency medical treatment

• Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a parent or guardian

 

Participants or their guardians agree to be financially responsible for any medical care provided.

Photo, Video & Media Consent

 

By registering, participants grant permission to Pro X Soccer and SL Benfica to photograph, video record, and capture images or likenesses during camp activities.

 

These materials may be used for:

 

• Marketing and promotional materials

• Websites and social media

• Educational content

• Event promotion

 

This permission is granted without compensation and without time or geographic limitation.

Personal Property & Equipment

 

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment.

 

Pro X Soccer and SL Benfica are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

 

Participants must use appropriate soccer equipment and attire, including shin guards and proper footwear when required.

Transportation

 

Unless explicitly stated, transportation to and from camp activities is the responsibility of the participant or their parent/guardian.

 

Pro X Soccer does not provide transportation unless specifically arranged and communicated in advance.

Refunds & Schedule Modifications

 

Pro X Soccer reserves the right to:

 

• Modify camp schedules

• Change coaches or staff

• Adjust training sessions or activities

• Change facility locations if necessary

 

These adjustments may occur due to weather, facility availability, safety considerations, or operational needs.

 

Refund policies will follow the terms stated at the time of registration.

Adult Participants (18 Years of Age or Older)

 

If you are 18 years of age or older, by registering you confirm that:

 

• You have read and understood this waiver

• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation

• You agree to all terms and conditions stated above

 

Your registration constitutes a legally binding acceptance of this waiver.

Minor Participants (Under 18 Years of Age)

 

If the participant is under 18 years of age, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

 

By registering a minor, the parent or guardian confirms that:

 

• They have read and understood this waiver

• They consent to the minor’s participation

• They agree to all terms on behalf of themselves and the minor

 

This waiver binds the minor participant, the parent/guardian, and their heirs and legal representatives.

Code of Conduct

 

Participation in Benfica Soccer Camp requires respectful, safe, and sportsmanlike behavior.

Pro X Soccer reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with program values.

Governing Law

​

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California.

Any disputes related to this agreement shall be resolved within the courts of California.

Severability

If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully valid and enforceable.

Digital Agreement

​

By completing registration, you acknowledge that your electronic acceptance of this waiver is legally binding and has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
