FAQs
Can I send my child without a parent?
Yes, we will provide a chaperone 24/7 while in Barcelona and at the Tournament.
You are responsible to book the “unaccompanied minor service” with the airline company for the player.
Can I make my own air travel arrangements?
Yes, you are responsible for booking the flights for the player and the family members joining the program.
Do I need a passport to travel?
Yes, it is required to have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining to travel to Barcelona. It is your responsibility to have a valid passport before joining the program.
Do I need a visa for joining the program?
No visa is required for UE, US or Canada passport holders for a stay up to 90 days.
Do I need an insurance to travel?
All members of the teams have to be insured both inside and outside the field.
The Organization does not take responsibility for any accident occurred during the tournament, nor any illness, robbery, etc.
The Organization offers the option to contract an accidents Insurance.
What airport do I have to fly to?
El Prat Airport (BCN)
When and what time should I land in Barcelona?
You should leave from the US on Saturday and land in Barcelona on Sunday before 8PM.
When and what time should I leave Barcelona?
You can leave on Sunday after 6pm.
Can I arrive earlier to Barcelona or leave after the dates of the program?
Yes, you can.
What will be the meeting point in Barcelona?
The meeting point will be at the Hotel in Lisbon, coaches, players and family members can take an Uber at the Barcelona Airport.
We will inform the address and the check-in time in advance.
Will the players be rooming with the family members?
The players will stay in the same hotel as the family members but we advise for players to room together.
How does the rooming for the players work?
The players will be roomed with their teammates.
The rooms will be for 2 or 3 players and they will be supervised by the chaperones and coaches sleeping on the same hotel.
Who will take care of the players while at the hotel?
Chaperones and team coaches will be with them 24/7.
Who are the chaperones?
The chaperones are qualified staff from Barcelona, bilingual and all of them have passed an official police background check in order to work with the players.
Do the players eat together with the rest of the team and the chaperone?
Yes, players will eat together as a team and supervised by their chaperone.
If the parents want to have the players for a meal out, that should be notified to their chaperone and they will be responsible to get the players in time for the next activity in the program.
What if my child has a food allergy?
We will ensure every food allergy is well-taken care and the player still receives a nutritious Mediterranean meal three times a day.
It is very important that you provide the allergies or special needs of the player to your Coach prior to the start of the trip.
What are the best methods of payment once in Spain?
The current currency in Spain is the Euro since Spain is part of the European Community.
ATM’s are available all over Barcelona and most of the stores and business accept American credits cards as a method of payment (except American Express).
What is the electricity supply in Spain?
The electricity supply in Spain is different than in the United States so we suggest you travel with an adaptor or converter.
How does the payment process work?
The payment process can be made in a single payment or in installments upon request.
Can I make modifications on my reservation after it is submitted?
Yes, you will be able to make modifications on your reservation up to the date of the last payment, after that moment, we will not accept any modifications.
What is the cancellation & refund policy?
Requests made up to 45 days prior to the start date of the trip in a formally written email to agent@prox.soccer will be fully refunded minus the reservation fee ($250) and the administration fee ($100).
However, if the cancelation request is received less than 45 days from the start date of the trip no refund will be returned.
